Railway car air-conditioning device 35kW type UKW.KB.01-35000SGW/3x400V~

Purpose


Air-conditioning device is designed for maintaining constant required temperature in new and modernized passenger cars as a result of air cooling or heating in inner circulation.

Air-conditioning device also secures car ventilation and air clearing from neutral contaminants (in form of dust, etc.).

General structure


Air-conditioning device is composed of two basic units: condenser and evaporator with electric reheater, fitted under the car in its middle part. Electrical protection is fitted within condenser unit. Whole air-conditioning device is controlled from inside of the car with MEDCOM control device.

Casing of the units is made of aluminium profiles and aluminium sheet metal. Condenser and evaporator’s cores are made of copper.

At customer’s request air-conditioning device may be fitted with internal-combustion reheater with 35 kW power liquid heating system.
